Sander Hölsgens
Sander Hölsgens (Heerlen, 1990) is an anthropologist working with sound and image across installation and performance. As a lecturer at the University of Groningen, he teaches practice-led courses in visual ethnography, audiovisual culture, and storytelling. In 2018, Sander finished his PhD at The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, researching skateboarding in South Korea. Alongside his research, he co-founded Pushing Boarders to trace the social impact of skateboarding worldwide.
